1641 Depositions

The three-year 1641 Depositions project aims to transcribe and digitise the Depositions comprising 3,400 depositions, examinations and associated materials, located in the Library of Trinity College Dublin, in which Protestant men and women of all classes told of their experiences following the outbreak of the rebellion by the Catholic Irish in October, 1641.

European Masters in Translation (EMT) Network

The newly formed European Master’s in Translation (EMT) network is an initiative of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Translation (DGT). Membership of the network acts as a kind of quality mark for masters-level translation studies programmes, and offers considerable benefits: for example, member programmes are entitled to use the designation ‘member of the EMT Network’ and to use the EMT logo.
