Personal Lenses for the Web of Data
Personal Lenses for the Web of Data, an IRCSET EMPOWER Initiative-funded postdoctoral fellowship, is a 2 year project (November 2010 - October 2012) with 1 academic partner (Trinity College Dublin).
In this project, Dr. Melike Sah will focus on researching and developing technologies and techniques to support personal lenses for the Web of Data. The research will identify and model personal preferences, interests, tasks and context of individual persons on the Web of Data. Then, according to personal perspective of the user on the Web of Data, the Linked Open Data Cloud will be adaptively queried for relevant resources. Finally, personal lenses enable visualization according to particular context of the individual.
